Hunting with Base and spike camp.

I kind have a plan what I want to do for a base camp and a spike camp I was just curious what everyone else did and maybe get a few different or better ideas. I call it spike camping because we will probably be staying in the same spot for more than one night and I consider bivy hunting packing camp up and moving everyday. I’ll take any tips for better methods of killing elk too! And for the grocery store comment... I can go to the meat locker and buy a half of beef and whole hog for what this hunt is gonna cost me (not including gear) so I’m not doing it to save money on meat for the freezer. Haha.
