Where we hunt in Mont. the bear are on the kills very fast and the GW will tell hunters they have an average of 45 min. to get the animal loaded and out of the area as the gun shot is the bears diner bell.
Two yrs. ago the warden said he had had 5 hunter chased off their animal.
So yes we hunt in at least pairs.
