Hunting show made me laugh a little

I have never seen anything like this before, does anyone actually do this? I would be afraid someone would shoot me.
I’m only a midwestern whitetail hunter so don’t hunt mule deer but I’ve seen plenty of shows and this is a first.

Archery season using a crossbow. I think lots of folks use something similar for deer, antelope, and turkeys. Montana decoy is one mfg.

I met a guy shot in the thigh by a bear hunter while sitting with an orange vest on. After spending a week with the guy and hearing everything he went through I won’t even wear tans or browns. lol

Looks like he has a bow. Doing this during any rifle season would be very brave(dumb). Other considerations would be public or private? Estate hunt? Deathwish?

Out here in the west I always thought a moo cow silhouette would work well but that still wouldn't guarantee not getting shot especially at the price of beef now.

No diff than an antelope decoy or them turkey fans they use. All I can say is if yer on private - why not?
