"DADDY"
I don't hunt with them, but I have some lighter arrows that I take to the range with me as well as my hunting arrows. Those lighter arrows hit the 100 yard target 2" high using my 80 yard pin that's set for the heavier arrows.
They disproved themselves right here. Like we have said all along. "Ted" is supposedly shooting a 60 lb bow. A 247 grain arrow heavier arrow looses 50-40 fps which is significant on a sight tape but only gains 6.4 lbs of KE. How they are looking at these "data sets" of one and defering what they are summarizing is laughable. At what point do you call 70 lbs of KE enough is 10 more lbs getting you to 80 really going ot help or is the trajectory going to be hurting you more then the increased KE is going to help.

I think we should send an invitation for the Fairy to return to Rokslide, I miss his avatar.
Totally agree, very bad idea. This is a horrible idea.
Bingo! Stalker nailed it!Right off they say they don’t care if they hit the target. The one guy misses low with his heavy arrow and shoots over it with the lighter arrow. And they keep saying it don’t matter, it’s only the science. Well if you can’t hit what your aiming at, what difference does it make. This video really proves, most folks ( even these Science experts) should not take shots that far.
I think you missed the point. Good grief.Right off they say they don’t care if they hit the target. The one guy misses low with his heavy arrow and shoots over it with the lighter arrow. Same bow different broadheads with different spine for the different arrows. Also using two sight tapes for the single pin sight I use. One for each setup. Seems complicated but I've gotten comfortable with it while I was sighting the different arrow setups in.As in two different arrow weights out of the same bow? Or carry two different bows? Also different arrow spines to compensate for the weight change or length? What about broadheads? I'm curious about the execution of this plan because it seems strange, unnecessary, and frankly a recipe for disaster.
