Hello All,
I know it's a long shot and risky, but my hunting partner lives in another state and can rarely get an Idaho tag anymore. Any chance there is someone in southern Idaho that is looking to backpack/spike hunt archery Elk/Deer that is in good shape, doesn't drink a lot and willing to team up? I'm 45, been archery hunting 5 years, have harvested several deer and an Elk. I'm an easy going guy and have hunted with couple different dudes but they tend to end up wanting to move in on Elk solo (I don't think it's because of me, lol, they just prefer to hunt that way) I think a 2 man setup for Elk is the better way to go than hunting solo a lot. I can call well and have a good idea of how to move in and setup on Elk.
Thanks,
Wade
