I'm trying to decide on a hunting pant to purchase from my goat hunt in BC this November. It will be a backpack hunt so I'll be covering a lot of ground, but glassing also. When I'm backpacking or snowshoeing I always wear my rei sahara pants with or without long underwear. They do great in all conditions, but they aren't too stealthy because of the noise. I was thinking of the Kuiu attack pant or Sitka Mountain pant. I'm not sure what the primary difference is between the two because I don't have them to compare with each other. I want something that is pretty lightweight, but I can wear merino base layers under if it is cold. I have chugach pants and jacket for my rain gear.
Any advice would help.
