Alright guys I need some help here. I am getting married in August and so far none of my groomsmen can make a bachelor party happen. None of my bachelor party have money, and they all have families. So my dilemma has come to the fact that none of them can plan anything. Anyone have any ideas on a hunt or something in the next couple months that doesn't cost much?

Can't go wrong with a day of shooting dogs. A lot of fun not a lot of cost other than rounds. If you do it set up a couple if hunting blinds if they can't see you you will get a lot more shooting.

I have a 3D course set up in the 20 acres of woods behind my house. About 20 targets including treestand shots.
Two years ago my son inlaw was in a small wedding and I hosted the groomsmen (three brothers of the groom) my son inlaw, and the groom for a day of shooting and then fed them elk burgers afterwards.
The groom and brothers had not been exposed to hunting but love the outdoors. Their dad had died unexpectedly a few years earlier coaching a high school football game.
I set them all up with traditional bows. My only request was to wear a harness that I left at the treestands and no beer until they were finished shooting.

They had a blast and didn't even lose any arrows. Now this week another of the brothers is getting married and they contacted me about a repeat 3D shoot/party.
They arrive tonight and will shoot tomorrow.

How about a bird hunt? Depends on the state, but game preserve bird season normally opens up in August. Depends on the number of birds/people going, but could probably swing it pretty cheap if you check around. I know its "canned" hunting, but atleast you get some meat out of it as opposed to prairie dogs.

I am not sure how old you are but what about one of the mud runs or something that requires shooting a bow and packing a pack. Winner gets something you can all agree on. Bob.

Pigs and fish. There are plenty of states that offer good hunting and fishing at the same time of year. If not stuck to hunting, charter a boat for tuna and dorado. Cheaper than you think out of San Diego.
