How many of you have used Hunt Score to analyze the units in a particular state you're interested in Hunting? I'm sure just about everyone... How realistic/accurate are their scores for particular units?

How many of you have used Hunt Score to analyze the units in a particular state you're interested in Hunting? I'm sure just about everyone... How realistic/accurate are their scores for particular units?

I own the site so I'm biased and would say they are 100% accurate In reality the HuntScore, FreezerScore and TrophyScore are composites, some folks like them and others hate them. There are 9 factors that go into creating the composite scores and at the end of the day, people who disagree with the composite scores are typically disagreeing with how I weight the 9 factors.

For folks who don't like our scores, we provide a tabular view of the 9 factors with filter/sorting capabilities so you can rank units based on the criteria that matter to you. Or if you just want to get to draw data, we have that too.

The underlying data comes from either state wildlife management agencies or federal government agencies. We spend the majority of our time processing draw reports, harvest reports, landownership data and then normalizing it across states.
