HS Precision 2000 rifles, anyone have any experience?

I have an opportunity to buy a HS P 2000 in 300 Weatherby for $2700. It is new, and comes with a brake. I believe it is the SPR model. So the US retail is about $5000.

It is here in Germany, and the closest thing to an American custom rifle I have seen here.

I’m not an HS expert by any means, but while at Gun Broker just now there is a different caliber ending its auction we speak at $2,400 and no bidders. Maybe a member can search for completed auction prices.

So yeah, it is what it is.

Most dudes are charging $6500 for a "custom" synthetic stocked rifle. So $5000 isn't a horrible price at $2700 for a new in the box one.

They have the best barrels going. They are the biggest producer of test barrels for the industry.
