I'm a little confused on the Hoyt Quivers. I have a G3 Carbon Element and was wondering what is compatible? With their new Arrow Rack quiver they list a model for pre 2013 carbon and post 2013 carbon. Is this a bow difference of a difference with the quiver?

I'm actually looking at the Hoyt Pro Series 2 piece quivers but have no idea if they will fit? No one has any Hoyt Quivers around here so I can't look at them. Do I need a special mount for this G3 or is it just a difference with the arrow rack. No one I have asked seems to know for sure?

The quivers are the same, the mounting posts are different due to the riser mounts on the different bows.

If you have a 2013 Element you will need the Arrow Rack with octagon shaped mounting brackets.

That's one thing that annoys me about Hoyt. Why couldn't they just keep the triangle mount standard on their bows?

It is only the mount. The triangle mounts were not a good engineer match for the carbon riser. Carbon has a unique set of engineering problems and the old triangle mounts were not compatible to the carbon risers.

In my experience, the pro-series did not fit my 2013 Spyder. Even if you get the octagon mounting brackets, the top and the bottom pieces do not line up. Get the arrow rack if you want to be sure.

The Tightspot works well but I selected a Carbon Vapor to cut weight.

I tried the Tightspot, it was louder and had more vibration than a two piece. The mounting hardware on the Hoyt's allow you to put the two piece just as close as a Tightspot would go. The downfall is you can't take it off like the Tightspot.

Great post, I have been wondering too. Last year's Arrow Racks are different. Last year's were like Tight Spots and adjustable, in and out (windage). This year's don't seem windage adjustable but the close centers of the rods appear to be behind the Tec/gusset which is behind the rest and at a predetermined, as-close-as-possible to the bow. Any dealers that can concur?

Part two: Will 3-point quiver (old school, aluminum riser) fit the new 6-point risers?
