I finally made the decision to switch over to a Hoyt. When I was at the bow shop yesterday I shot the spyder 30 with the RKT cams and didn't like the wall it had, to spongy and not solid at all. Then I shot the Faktor 30 with the new ZRT cams and loved it so I bought it. Can't wait to back from my AZ hunt next week and start setting it up. Just thought I would share cause I'm a little excited.

Nice looking new toy! Yeah those Z5 cams are really smooth. Please post some pictures and stats once you get it all set-up and tuned.

Have you finished setting up your bow? How do you like it? Could you please post some pictures and your final set up. I am interested in the same bow and looking forward to seeing it all set up. Thanks

I have my bow all set up with a Tommy Hogg 3 pin sight (kept from my old bow), 8" bee stinger stab, 1/4" peep and a Hamskea full containment versa rest.
I have to say that I really like this bow. The draw cycle is smoother and more consistent than my Insanity and it tuned a lot easier as well. The bow is quiet but maybe that's because it's only shooting 270 fps. The Hamskea rest is giving me concerns though. The thin metal V rest itself is screwed to the rest by 2 little Allen screws and they keep coming loose so this weekend I'm back to the bow shop to put on some liquid tight and paper tuning once more. Also the bottom limb actuated setup I'm a little worried about when I'm hiking through some thick cover. The thin string and spring have me a little concerned. Next week I'll be shooting steep inclines to level my 3rd axis then I should be all ready to go.
