Looks like you have a pretty harsh grip on your bow.

Hard to tell a lot more with that heavy sweatshirt on.

Been awhile since I've shot a bow but guessing techniques haven't changed much. Only tips I have relax front hand try not to grip it, touch the same spot on you face every time and I always hooked my thumb behind my neck to also help with consistency. Good luck it's fun to shoot.

There are several little things but with your sweatshirt it's hard to say for sure.

It does look like your draw is to short by the amount of bend in your left arm. I don't like the way you aren't standing up straight as you look into your sight but seem to be leaning into it. As I mentioned, you have a death grip on your bow. But really just fine tuning things that almost have to be really done in person. I would like to see more video with you drawing and settling in for the shot also to really help you fine tune.

Draw length is fine if you straighten your bow arm up, which also tells me you probably draw across your chest. Nothing falls into alignment when you do that. Both hands should be slightly above the shoulders when you start the draw. You'll hit the stops, drop into your anchor and everything will lock up if you have the draw length right.

I'm with wapiti. Straighten your left arm a little which will pull your release hand and anchor forward a little. Try to get your index knuckle under your ear lobe or somewhere comfortable and absolutely repeatable. Relax your grip. If you need a small draw length adjustment you can lengthen or shorten both the d loop and release length. Try to get your trigger hitting between the two creases on your index finger.

Bow arm should be straight but relaxed(not locked to point of hyper-extension. It's hard to tell with sweatshirt on but it appears as if your front shoulder is compressed. Bow hand needs relaxed and rotated clockwise to where your elbow faces 7 o'clock with bow arm straight. Front hip looks to be "hitched", should be squared with torso and legs. Your nock should be at the corner of your eye. Again, hard to tell from the pictures but appears as if you are bending your head down to get to the string. You'll want to bring the string to your face, not you face to the string. I'm sure there will be some archers with much more experience chime in but those are the things I notice. Love the shirt BTW.

Thanks for all the feed back I adjusted my release strap a half inch and made sure I was keeping my left arm straight and my groups seemed to tighten up alot. I need to loosen up my grip hand though

Looks to me like you are anchoring pretty high, therefore your peep site is low on the string and you are having to twist your head down and into the string so you can see through the peep.

Your first knuckle should go below your earlobe into a natural notch behind your jawbone. If you lower your anchor you will be able to raise your peep and keep your head straight.

Already said before above, but...
1 your anchor is high and basically floating,
2 bow arm bent WAY too much, (should be straight but not locked out).
3 KNUCKLES on bow hand at about a 45deg angle opn the bow handle,
4 you got the right side gangsta slouch going on. (AKA leaning back with bow arm bent)
Because your bending the bow arm the DL looks 2" long but it is probably fine once once you straightn out that bow arm. By doing the "arm bend / gangsga lean / snake choking" you are probably pretty unstable at full draw as you have SO MANY angles and jounts working against each-other that your using alot of "muscle" at full draw to be stable.
If you posted a 20 sec video of yourself from 90 degrees of you drawing and releasing we could tell a whole lot more.

DO this quickie little experiment for us: draw the bow while standing in a doorway or next to an outside wall corner, with you right foot, knee, hip, and shoulder blade against the door jamb edge. WHY you ask?,, Well,,,,This will MAKE you stand more straight up, and you should immediately feel more stability in the form at full draw. Then simply extend that bow arm more and work with that new stance.

wapitibob, could you clarify what "drawing across the chest means"? I'm 100% self taught but I've been shooting since I was 4 years old, and think I have pretty decent form, but I'm not sure what exactly that means.

elkyinzer, it means dropping your back shoulder and pulling the string across your chest instead of putting your arm straight ahead and pulling to your face. A lot of guys do it without knowing it but its not good for your shoulders or conducive to having good form.

A good indicator is if your bicep on your release arm gets tired as you practice. With good form your bow arm will tire long before the release arm as you should be using almost no muscles in your release arm to draw and hold your bow at full draw until you release it.
