That’s a mdt stock? It looks similar to the Hera H7 stock. Still a very nice build!

Thanks mate. It's a pity about it being so flexible as it's the perfect profile and a decent fit.

Ended up returning the MDT Field Stock and replaced it with a Carbon Stocky Stocks. Rifle balances well but it's still not the right fit for me in a prone position. It's a pity we can't get the stocky's VG in Australia, as I think a vertical grip is a must for this to work for me.

Just finished putting together a Howa 1500 build and was wondering if anyone one else was using this platform to build off of as well. Am thinking of using the 1500 action for a future 300 PRC mountain rifle so I’d like to see some semi-custom builds and here some feedback on how you like them.

Here’s mine, will post groupings when I get to the range next weekend:

Howa 1500 short action in .204 Ruger
Heavy barrel contour cut to 20”
KRG Bravo chassis
Deadair Sandman Ti
Talley pic rail with Vortex tactical rings
Primary Arms 4-16x44
Burnt bronze cerakote finish

Approaching 200 rounds on the carbon barreled action 1500. It really likes the 156 EOL, though the factory ammo is a little slow at 2827 out of this gun. I'll get to reloading some day...

My Howa 6BR i had built a few years back, finally in a chassis that can take the weight of the 26" Heavy Varmint IBI barrel. Previously in a KRG Bravo that flexed a little with the barrel weight. Shoots same POI with 107gr Sierra's, 105VLDH Berger's, and 108ELDM. 6BR is something special!

Another more recent build. 22" 6CM with an IBI 1:7.5" barrel. Chambered with a .120FB reamer for the 112gr Match Burners. It has been in 4 stocks so far, but I think I'll probably stay with the Bravo as the best compromise between ergos and weight.
