I'll vouch for Jefferson Outdoors floor plates. I have both the hinged and CZ magwells for both 6.5 and .223. They are exceptional quality and really a major improvement over the factory plastic bottom "metal". And like BBob said they go fast.

I shot a few rocks this morning fireforming brass. I have 50 brass fireformed now so I will start working up a load. It's a fun little gun to shoot.

I need a better tripod to shoot off of.

Does anyone have a weight on a 6 Creed barreled action? Or maybe a 6.5 or 243 would be close? Trying to run some numbers on an estimated total weight for a possible build.

If you look at the weights listed for the barreled actions at brownells it's hard to believe they are correct. I think the 7mm08 barreled action was listed at close to 6lbs last I checked and the weights seem to be all over the place. Looking for someone who has weighed theirs.

I would guess like 6.5lbs. My Howa action weight like 36 or 38 ounces and a heavy Varmint counter 24” barrel is about 4lbs

That just seems unreasonably heavy for a barreled action. I know howas are on the heavy side but I attributed alot of that to the Houge Overmold stock.

you can build your own and make it lighter. This is a 284Win build on a short action Howa 1500. Rifle by its self weights 8lbs. I’m actually trying to sell this build or part it out. Ended up building another custom short mag on a Remington 700 clone

Some really nice rifles you have there. I wouldn't mind the weight for a different application, but was thinking a 6mm CM for a lightweight backcountry gun with a foldable chassis.

I would highly recommend the XLR Element 4.0 Magnesium chassis. That’s what is on my 7-6.5prc above and it’s incredibly light but as solid as a rock.

• Stockys carbon fiber stock custom painted by me
• Talley lightweight tall rings
• Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56

It weighs ~8.6 lbs w/ 3 rounds according to my bathroom scale.

I just weighed my 6mm Creed barreled action and it is 5lb 1.5oz. Mine has a few wraps of masking tape around the barrel which might add a very small amount.

I wish we could get the stainless mini's here in the states. The bluing on this one was very bad.

I went a little overboard with my mini build... I chambered it in .223 AI and it shoots great. This also gave me an excuse to build a lightweight rifle as well.
