How to get 1/2-28 Ti can for .30 cal bolt guns/hunting rifles?

Honestly appologize, as I am asking very Newb questions and I would guess these get annoying? As I am essentially asking "Is the 30-06 a good gun".

But I am simply ignorant on All Things Cans.

I own two cans. A TBAC Ultra 7 in .30. And a TBAC rimfire can. Direct thread. I enjoy them. I am looking to add 3 ish new cans. The big bore can is a whole different topic and question. And the rimfire cans seems hard to get a bad one.

My question is for some hunting rifles with thin diameter barrels. I have a Tikka 300 WSM chopped to 19". It's 1/2-28. Have some mid caliber Creeds, etc that are also 1/2" pitch.

I would like a .30 cal can that I can use across the board for 1/2-28s. My head is spinning with all the options and research. I work with some Suppressor Nerds, but they are all gas gun and PCC fanatics. Not dedicated precision bolt gun or hunter guys.

Looking on SilencerShop...all the "good schitt" is sold or back ordered? I get there's a rush right now.

But can someone line me out and give me some examples of what I am looking for? I THINK I am wanting something Ti, with a HUB?

Suggestions? I don't think I need the BEST in every category. But sub 16oz, decent dB reduction, and "modular"? End caps that can be swapped to improve dB if I ran 6.5 vs 5.56 vs .30? Or it doesn't really translate to the ear with the minor change to fit bullet diameter.

Take it easy on me. I simply don't know.

Thank you

I’ve never had an issue if I get one with good tolerances meant for this application…

Shoot me a pm if you’re interested In an Unknown Suppressor. We can even sell you one with a 1/2x28 direct thread hub adapter to make it screw right onto all of your 1/2 barrels if that’s the route you want to go.

-Sales

Many suppressors have different direct thread hub options.

I understand not wanting to use an adapter, because it adds another point for tolerance stacking, but if I got a quality adapter and used a guide rod to check it, I would do it.

I am currently local and have been to the store front. In my reading of these pages I didn't think US was up and running with cans on hand?

Unknown has a kiosk and we can start paperwork for your can if you want to go that way. Very simple if you’re local especially. Like I said shoot me a pm if you want or a text/call.

Guess I am asking for a list of Top 5 or so Ti cans that are HUB compatible? I see several that are Direct Thread at 5/8". And other that have proprietary muzzle device brakes, or QDs etc. Silencer Shop filters left me wanting.

As far as changing out the end cap, it doesn’t appear to make a significant, measurable difference in terms of sound suppression on muzzle forward cans - but it is quieter - so I personally wouldn’t worry about that.

You can use this with a Reaper from US. You can also use a 5/8-1/2 adapter but the listed HUB will let you screw it directly on which I believe is what you're asking for. I bet you can find one for less but that's an example of what you're asking for. Too bad they're not still $35 like they were when I ordered in the spring.
