How to change stays in Duplex?

Hey everyone. The guys at Kifaru are great and have sent me some flat back stays to swap out for my standard stays. The problem is, I can't get the standard stays in the duplex to budge. Any help out there? I know it is probably something easy. But help a poor soul out here!

Try warming it up with hair blow dryer in the slot. Never change any before just throwing ideas out

Just make sure when you're pulling with all your might that your face is out of the way when the stays break loose...but seriously, try harder

Best way is to grip onto one with a pair of pliars and stand on the handle with the frame upside down, and pull it out. Make sure you out the new ones in the right way too.

Ditto. I have changed stays in kifarus many times. Never an easy task. It is amazing how tight they are in there.

You can hammer the one end also....fold up a towel, put it over the stay and hit it. Once it breaks loose, it will come out fairly easy. When putting the new ones in, you may need to hammer those in the last couple of inches.
