How to become a moderator?

Out of general curiosity, how do you become a moderator of this forum?

Once you are a moderator, is there a certain criteria or general guidelines you follow to perform your tasks?

It’s a long process, you need year of experience moderating Facebook groups, you also have to like every post a mod makes. There’s more but you can get started with that.

It takes years. Not everybody can do it.

The people who tend to make the best mods, don't want it, and might turn down the request repeatedly before they accept it purely because they recognize the need for it.

Well the 1st step in the application process is you have to send @Ryan Avery pictures of your self in a g-string thong speedo.

Then if he deems you worthy, @robby denning send you a written test on mule deer behavior and what plants mule deer prefer to feed on. IF you pass those 1st two requirements, you are locked in a room one on one with @fngTony for 48 hours and you can only communicate in memes.

IF you survive that then you are required to go on a canoe trip down a river in Arkansas with my hillbilly self, and if you have a purty enough mouth, then you "might" get to be a moderator.
