We play around with hunting rifles at a mile and the idea was to see if anything wonky happens at the extreme ends of travel.
Athlon 2-12 on the 243 when dialled to 26 mils (2.6 metres or about 9 feet) was off by about .3 (that takes me to a mile) and vertical was perfect, got to be happy with that.
