How old are these and what are they

My wifes uncle, 90 years old, has these. he has no Idea what they are, aside from being shotguns. He said they belonged to his great grandfather, so they are old. I have not seen them in person.

Can't read the writing on the sxs in the first picture.

The single shot looks alot like a Wards Hercules. I'll post a picture of mine in a minute.

Wards was Sears brand of shotgun for a period of time.

Like I said I have not seen them in person, these pictures is all I have for now. I'll contact her nephew and see if he can read the name on them.

That is my problem. I had one guy tell me he thinks it may be a Belgian Neumann Brothers with Damascus barrel. ?????

Ya, never shoot a Damascus firearm, at lest not with modern ammo and powders. I did find out the writing says, "Fine Damascus Belgium". I am going to go over this coming week to take a look at them.
