25 bucks.

Bought a pair of boots in my size but those dang Italian boot makers are so vain, they make all their sizes just a bit small. It's a chick thing too. Anyway, sold them for a $25 loss.

This website has cost me a retirement. I will now be able to retire in like never due to the elk infection I have caught from this site. I have come to the conclusion that this disease is incurable and to tell you the truth I'm glad. So in forty years from now I'll be posting about that elk hunt I went on during my vacation time from work still.

It's not what you spend, it's what you save!
Years of screwing up and trying to learn on my own- avoided, bad gear purchases- avoided...

The secrets to a successful marriage as a hopelessly obsessed hunter are pretty simple. Everything is based on trust, compassion, mutual respect, and absolutely lie about all the money you spend!!! 😁

Not sure I’d say “cost”. I was gunna buy the gear anyways, this just helps to lower the hit to the wallet.

Depends on what you mean by "cost"...I haven't bought a lot directly, but the information that has been provided has "forced" me to spend a bunch of cash...

Not enough...yet. I just found out about this site and apparently need to get some posts before I can start purchasing.

I actually think this site has saved me money. I would've spent a bunch of money on mediocre gear just to find out 3 months into using it that it falls short of my needs. Rokslide members test all my gear for me and so I know what i'm buying and can expect. Sometimes it doesn't workout but I'd say 90% of the time the reviews and comments are pretty spot on.

Alot, but I have also learned a ton, especially from some really generous folks who reached out in PMs. This site is a great resource, and most importantly.... a place to meet like minds. Hard to put a price on that

You can save a lot in the classifieds.....unless you believe the threads that tell you your gear sucks and you need more stuff.

Haven’t been here long but seeing as though I’m a gear junkie, I’d say it’s going to cost me plenty
