How much water do you plan on using for a backcountry hunt in early Sep., assuming highs in the 80s?

1-2 MH meals and coffee in the morning.

Well......2 MH meals your looking at about 32oz, maybe 16oz coffee? brings you to 48oz. I could easily see you drinking 50oz of water a day, so 100oz should be a easy figure. I would use a bit more than that, but that should give you an easy jump off point.

Depends on the activity level and terrain. I use close to 200 oz. on a normal day of glassing then stalking. That is for food and making drinks. Usually have to fill up after lunch.

I'll easily drink 3-4 liters or more in a day if I'm working hard, and that doesn't include cooking water.

Yeah I can easily go through 3-4L a day. I carry a 4L Dromedary bag and have to fill it up daily.

Same here. 100 oz bladder goes real quick. Got a new 3L bladder this year with a 6L drom bag for camp water. I don't eat dinner unless back at camp so the only water I bring with me during the day is drinking water. 3L should be good with option to fill up with the Sawyer inline.

If I'm packing in with a full load, I can suck down 3L in 3-4hrs. I usually fill my 3L bladder and then a 32oz gatorade bottle or 1L water bottle for backup.
