How much does you rifle weigh?

I’m right at 10.7 lbs loaded with glass and suppressor.

22in Proof Carbon Barrel (6.5 CM for now, switching to 7 SAUM soon.)
SilencerCo Omega with Titanium front cap and direct thread mount
Razor HD 5-20 (Going to swap this to a AMG to drop another 8oz at some point)

Some of the ultralight crowd scoff at this but I think a ~10 lb rifle is the sweet spot between shoot ability, ease of carry and recoil management.

I'm in the process of getting rid of any hunting rifle of mine that is over my weight limit (8 pounds). The extra weight does nothing for me except burn more calories.

Came in just over 10lbs with the mk 5 and bipods. 26” 3B contour barrel, McMillan game warden, Harrell brake, mountain tactical bottom medal, and hells canyon armory billet mag. I think it’s perfect, recoil is amazing, shoots like a dream and not too hard on the packing. Much rather have a few extra pounds that shoot great than be light but harder shooting.

This is how my rifle breaks down, I’m gonna switch up the stock and save a few Oz. It’s a 338LM, with a 27 inch barrel, 7-35 Atacr in a spurh mount, and a 338 ultra on the end. The bipod is a tbac bipod.

Rifle, scoped: 11lbs 10oz/5290g

Scopes with suppressor: 12lbs 12 oz/5791g

Supressor w/ bipod:13lbs 11oz/6212g

Loaded up w/ ammo: 14Lbs 10oz/6641g

I'm a little over 8 pounds on my elk rifle. Fine for hunting but not much of a range gun. Since I have started using the Kifaru gun bearer I could certainly add another pound or two and not have it bother me much at all and should be more enjoyable overall to shoot. Likely target just under 10lbs loaded and ready to hunt on my next elk gun.

My heaviest is 12# 338 rum, lightest is 7.3#"6.5 saum, these are scoped w/ ammo weights. I personally prefer 9# and heavier for shots over 5-600y a 7# rifles unsteady and and see my heart beat in the reticle, plus every wind gust. Not ethical for long shots. This all comes into play with my own abilities and limits.

Just picked this up over a month ago. She weighs 9 lbs 11 oz as she sits. Without bipod she weighs 8 lbs 11 oz. I'm pretty happy with the weight, but I have not carried her in the field yet. Just to the range so far.

For a while - I was in pursuit of the perfect rifle - ultralight weight and long range capable. I've since decided that for me, two rifles do this better than one.

I have a Kimber Mountain Ascent in 308 that serves as my walking rifle - I limit shots to 200 yards with it. Weighs 5.7 lbs with scope

My stand hunt rifles weigh in the 11-12 lb neighborhood

Most used rifle is a 700 in 300 H&H, glass stock, talleys and a Leica 2.5x10x40 comes in at 7lbs 11oz loaded. Second is another 700 in 300RUM, Alaskan take off stock, 2.5x10 Leupold in talleys 8lbs 7oz without brake or 8 9 with.
I’d like to have a lighter rifle for WY mountains but don’t shoot them as well. That 8lb mark seems about right for me.
