I do enjoy company on the drive down, in the evening at camp, and certainly packing something out but we need to be on the same page. Up early part ways. I generally don't archery hunt in close proximity to anyone. We are in communication and have a loose plan, keeping our distances. You drop in this drainage, I'll drop in this drainage, trucks are parked here, and we both have keys. Stay in touch with InReach. It is nice having the option to either out and back or if things aren't promising, through hunt to a waiting truck. Sometimes we meet up for lunch but I don't expect to see my hunting partners until that evening. Once animals are found we come up with a new plan and one hunter is there for support of the other. Rifle hunt is way more social simply because you are so far from the animals. I enjoy finding a nice spot and glassing, quietly chatting about whatever comes up. Weekdays before or after work is solo. Grab the gear and go.
