How many days afield

In chronological order :
~26 shed hunting
112 mushroom hunting/picking
16 berry picking (Hucks)
22 archery elk
15 rifle elk and deer combined
6 helping friends and family pack out

This sounds like a question my wife asks regularly.... who sent you? Sounds like a trap
Def no trap hahaha. My x wife would wanna know, but then again, there’s a reason she’s my x haha.

Just curious. I know in some states deer season is much shorter, or with much fewer tag options, so I just wondered how that equated to days afield

35 days across five tags in two different states. (Elk 5) (Deer 30) priorities you know??😉 Having my first kiddo in June this year and selfishly hoping that number doesn’t dip too much. Haha.

35 days hunting deer or birds. I would have been far happier with another 14 days. It’s possible I will get a few more days of small game hunting next week.

50ish which includes:
Trapping (8)
Turkeys (15)
Elk (8)
Antelope (2)
Whitetails (5)
Ducks (2)
Pheasants (10)

Definitely my lowest in a long time. I am in the thick of toddlerhood, and am looking forward to being able to take the kids more often in the coming years.

17 last spring chasing gobblers in Missouri and Kansas. 10-12 at home doing the same. 27 Days chasing Idaho bulls, 12 days chasing whitetails. This does not include days scouting.

No idea don't keep count. I have slept in, past daylight, one weekend since deer opened 8/15 and that will contine to end of duck season. Add in trout/smallie fishing, turkeys, pigs, west TX axis hunt in Feb.
Probably easier for me to count the days I wasn't "in the filed".

Most years about 45 bird hunting and 12 or so deer. This year was bad, 10 or so bird hunting and 3 deer. 26 should be back to normal. Hopefully adding a bit on the deer side.
