How many arrows do you take in your quiver ?

Seen people lose lots of arrows. Usually keep few at camp/truck. I only shot more than 1 arrow at an animal one time, antelope buck, missed him. It was a sheep pasture and as I was stomping through the sage brush looking for my first arrow, he eventually ran that entire fence line right back to me. Missed him 2x, he was running both times and it was fun.

4 arrows with fixed broadheads. 2 arrows with small game broadheads. I paint my 'chicken arrows' bright orange too so they're easier to find.

I feel like a more interesting topic would be "The Most Arrows You've Shot". A 1 arrow quiver would have worked for most of my hunts. But the one time things got western I used all 5. And they all were in the animal.. Wasn't how I envisioned things going. But when shit goes sideways, I'd hate to be empty while an animal suffers.

It’s also a requirement that anyone who hunts with me to shoot the same arrows.
That way I never run out

Never heard of carrying a quiver with empty slots. Fill it up!! Mine holds 5

Haha, I have a 7 arrow quiver but only carry 5. It was on the bow when I got it and never felt a need to replace it but more then 5 arrows seems excessive to me.

6 I used to carry a judo but now I just shoot grouse with a broadhead if I feel the need lol

2 fixed, 2 mechanical, 1 blunt tip for Grouse (someday I'll see one I'm sure of it).

Leave the blunt tip in the truck and that grouse will turn up

5 all with broadheads. I’ve never understood the desire to carry a grouse arrow while elk hunting

For elk I carry 3 fixed broadheads. Deer in open country 5 fixed.
