MT Al,
FYI, Sitka is warrantied for life, so if you have another problem, send it back and they will fix or replace.

I started my Sitka collection in 2015. Not one piece is worn out yet. Not even close. I use it pretty hard on elk, muley, and antelope hunts out west and whitetail, turkey, duck, goose, and pheasant hunts here. Pheasant hunting can be surprisingly hard on gear due to abrasive vegetation.

I can say great things about Sitka brand, but them and other camo companies have gotten to expensive for me. I turned to Catch and Release Camo. Nice thing is there local for me and there clothing does not break the bank! I’ve been running it for 2 years with great success. If a pair of pants gets dinged up oh well I buy another for $69. Hope this helps out some of you. Yes I do “staff” for them, but I like affordable gear that works! So if you order I can save you an additional 10% with duckslayer10. I used this gear for the past 2 years, Goat Packing with the same stuff for 500+ miles in 2 seasons. Plus I use a lot of the same stuff for fishing. Great product.

Unless I got a bad pair, I wouldn't count on more than a couple seasons from kuiu attack pants. Mine pile up something terrible, have come unsewn in multiple places and seem to get holes easier than cheaper pants. I have had good luck with the heavy weight kuIu peleton. I wouldn't spend the money for a camo puffy. I only wear one when I am glassing in the cold or at night.
Weird, I bought the same but in a solid color for daily wear. Two years and probably 200 days of wear, still look great.

That is what I was hoping for when I bought them. Maybe I am hard on pants?

I am hard on pants. I’m wearing the attacks now, and just looked them over. I gotta say I’m impressed with mine, but for the price we should be. Not sure why yours didn’t impress.
The DWR fabric still beads up water. These have been washed dozens of times.

Can’t you return yours?

Here are some of the repairs I have had to do. The inside of the bottom hem wore holes in both sides and the hem came undone. I sewed patches where the holes were and ran the sewing machine where the hems had come undone. The giant L shaped rip was from the first time I wore them. Had to run the sewing machine on both pockets where it was coming unsewn from holes starting. I borrowed an electric clothes trimmer from my mom to remove all the material pilling up on the inside. I image I won’t be able to do that many more times before the material gets to thin. The only reason I made the repairs on them is I like the fit and love the side zips to dump heat. On the bright side it gave me some more practice on the sewing machine. I get clothes wear out, but two archery seasons is too fast for me to buy another pair.
Edit: Just saw your last question about returns. I emailed them about the torn leg after their maiden voyage and was told to pound sand.

yow, just two seasons. Mine also fit perfectly and like I said, I bought the solid color specifically so I could wear these year round. I also have a few kuiu tops and their rain jacket that have held up well. Yours look like crap for what, 3-4 weeks of wear. I’m going to look into some US made options when I need more clothing for hunting.

I’ve sold Sitka and Kuiu cloths on here I’ve worn for years and they still look new.
Check out the classified.

I recently made a post in the classifieds looking for a well used “full system” of premium camo clothing (sz L, 33 or 34 waist). I’m not currently in a position to buy a full system new or lightly used and I figured there must be someone out there with 3, 4, 5+ year old gear that they’re planning on selling and upgrading this year (ripped, torn, stained - all fine).

I received an underwhelming response to that post so far which has left me wondering - how long does this stuff last??

Just looking on input on how you’ve justified the investment for premium gear and how much use/many years you’ve gotten out of it. Thanks!

Don’t buy the hype. All clothing brands sell the same combination of materials. Either it’s cotton, nylon, poly, wool, or a mix. Wool doesn’t have to be expensive. Also don’t buy the camo hype. Just get brown/green/dull colors and your fine.
