How do you carry trekking poles ?

I use these, (https://www.amazon.com/CAT-Outdoors...lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=A339P7SIFZ9H5S&th=1), to attach similar items to a bag I use for work. if you hooked the foot into a loop and secured the pole with one of these they should be easy to access on handed.

you can also run them horizontally through the gap between load lifters and your shoulder straps. a little finicky but works.

Mine are attached to my tripod as legs. I put the in a slot pocket on my pack.

I disassemble one and keep it inside my pack and carry a single one while hiking/hunting. That way I'll have both if packing out something heavy.
