It seems at this point the issue isn't with the scope. I bought it knowing it had been sent in to check the seal and given a clean bill of health.

I had that issue earlier this year, VX6HD was shooting feet high even cranked all the way down.Removed and replaced everything a few times. Come to find out, the guy at Ferrall had sent me the wrong base....
Hope you get it figured out and get to enjoy the scope. Side thought, seems the seller knew there was a problem, sent it in, and sold the problem to you.....I'd still feel I'd want my money back if he's willing..

I would not have sold it if I thought it was a problem. I made it clear to gabenzeke that I had sent it for warranty repair.
