How do I attach a short video?

The photo icon only pulls up pics but I’d like to post a 5-6 second video. Any tips?

There isn't a direct option to upload a video. Use the Vimeo app, it's the easiest, fastest way to create and link videos. Open Vimeo, upload from your device, choose the video on your device, once it shows in Vimeo camera roll tap on the video you want, set to public, let the app go to work to render the video, when it's done rendering hit the share button, copy URL link and post the URL in your message.
