How are you guys keeping your scopes covered?

Butler creek flip opens have served me very well 25 years.

but Ryan and Jake mounted my scope on the 6UM and sent it with the full neoprene.

I wasn't sure if I'd like it but ran it a season and will likely stay with it.

Butler Creek pros: prolly faster because I can flip them at any time in the shot process vs the neoprene, I have to pull it off before I cheek weld (or let go of the pistol grip).

Neoprene pros: full scope protection, not just the lenses.

Butler Creek. They're the most low profile covers I've seen. I often carry my rifles in a Kolpin Gunboot on my quad to get to a spot and it was always a tight fit with others and if they fitted they would get ripped off trying to get the rifle out.

I like the scope bumpers after having just about every other cap on the market. They are pricey though.

A lot of caps on the market either don’t last a full season or make a stupid amount of noise. I’ve used bikini covers, which work, but since they aren’t attached to the gun it’s one more thing to forget.

Butler creek are probably the go to though

Hate em all, ran neoprene on scope/mount for blaser k95 takedown in pack in pieces as protection only but cannot stand anything that slows me down when tag in pocket and past the no hunting lines. If it’s in the pack or on the pack I’m not really hunting so where I can’t be loaded and shooting. Protection ok. Have flipped canted butler creek objective on to correct holy fack thumb up angle quick on a ram blowing through at 35 yards flying out of a kifaru gun bearer but that is the exception, had a lot of time with that rifle and pack set up. Rather try to see through rain and snow than fack with anything. So many plastic and aluminum caps in my box of wasted money....whatever you want though. I should probably try to sell all the useless shit one of these days, still learning the hard way though...my kids can figure it out when I’m gone.

Every scope cover I used was annoying but also every scope cover I used was better then this.

This is a clip-on adapter and I do have a scope cover for it that's actually good. But I forgot it.
