Check out the molle-link holster from KCT - just picked one up for my G20 on my duplex and really liking it.

Bbrown, how are you liking the KCT? Have you spent any time hiking with it? I really like the looks of that setup.

So far so good - only had it out for a couple hikes and 2 coyote hunts. Really like how tight it rides to your side so while walking your arm doesn't hit it. Loaded the pack with some extra weight and really cinched down the belt for one hike to see if I could feel any pressure points coming through the belt where the holster attaches but no issues.

Hey bbrown, my T2 only has one row of PALS on the belt. Would you say the KCT would be secure enough if only attached with the one row, or no? Thanks.

My duplex is one of the older styles with one row of PALS, the Bianchi UMH works just fine with one row, not sure about the KCT. One other reason why I like the Bianchi is because it covers the end of the barrel. I tried other solutions before moving to it and everytime I took off my pack debris would get in the barrel so I had to use tape to cover it.

Does anybody else have a problem with their sidearm falling out of the holster if you take your pick off and lay it on the ground? Mine seems to pop out if the belt lays over. I've used the paddle holster that came with my XD-s and also an Alien Gear OWB and it does it with both. So far I've managed to notice it every time it happens but I'm worried to death I'm going to overlook it one of these days and lose my pistol.

They make one with only 2 points of attachment for smaller pistols but the 4 points seem much better. Another option would be to change the belt out to the newer style with 2 rows.

Retention with the KCT is pretty good because of the Kydex -my glock has not slid out yet. Time will tell if it loosens up but a guy could easily add some bungee cord for extra insurance.

I was worried about the open end on the holster and almost sent the KCT guys an email to see it they could incorporate a bottom when the molded the kydex but never got around to it. Instead I am just more selective about where I lay my pack down and also lay it on the other side first so the belt usually ends up landing on the pack.

For what its worth - I have no ties to KCT just found them off someone else's post and looked like a good option especially for the price. Anyone else who tries one post up your thoughts as well.

Bbrown, thanks for the info. I'm going to order one of the KCTs and try it out. Looks like a great option.

The KCT holsters are great, I have the four pals slot and wide belt slot which works on Stone Glacier and KUIU packs and both work fantastic.

Low profile and very nice friction grip on the pistol. I haven't had any problems with them falling out when taking the pack off.

They do make one with just two pals slots.

I didn't get the FBI cant and I wish I had. I will probably order another one with it.

I didn't think to do what bbrown did with the belt pouch, I like to keep gloves and hat on that side so that would work perfect.

Wilderness tactical safe packer. Here in Cali you get harassed if you are seen with a weapon by the the bunny huggers. This holster completely encompasses the gun keeping it dry and clean as well. I put a Cannon patch on it so people look at it and think it's my digital camera but really it's my 10mm hand "Cannon". Soaked the holster in DWR and gun stayed dry after 3 days of hard hunting in the rain. The Cougar population is out of control in the coastal mountains here so I won't go out in the woods without it.

Just ordered the KCT, have been trying to figure out how I want to carry my 10mm for griz country, this looks great. I was going to get the serpa adapter but the photos of the KCT under a small side pocket did it for me. Thanks BBROWN!

Another Hill People Gear kit bag, love that I can take my pack off and still have gun on my person and that it is concealed but easy to draw.

which model do you have? 40 or the 20 having a hard time finding a holster for the long slide 10mm, none of the holster manufactures seem to be making it yet?
