How anal are you about case length?

I don't care at all. I use the little lee hand held case trimmer and cordless drill. I can trim cases almost as fast as I can measure and sort them. So I just do it while chillin by the fire with a towel on my lap. I don't measure squat. Just make them all the same. Other than a little neck tension change I don't think it matters much.

Neck turning? Now, that matters for getting another quarter inch out of a great rifles groups. Not case length.

The place where the couple thou will show up is on the crimp portion of the die.....stay out of that and you're not likely a good enough shooter to measure the difference.

If you do crimp, case length can be important.

Use the Lee trimmer too with a power screwdriver, on a quicktrim die in a progressive. Faster to just trim them all after sizing than to check the length.
