It’s soft, but hardens up after the second firing, and does what it needs to do. I have 4 firings on my 6creed brass. What are your concerns?
If it’s not same lot it goes in the recycling bucket
Ha! All brass gets blasted on the internet. “iT’s NoT LApUa”None really except I’ve found primer pocket life can be short if running max loads. Now that I’m more seasoned, I run lower nodes to get max brass life. I do anneal after every firing so it’s always nice a soft when sizing and seating.
Hornady brass gets blasted pretty hard on the internet, but I like its availability at local retailers and price.
Not range brass. Just mixed lot. If I don’t know it’s the same lot it gets recycled. Are you talking about picked up range brass?
I’ve bought a couple bags that were a different lot and over time they got mixed up when loading 100 rounds. I’ve never found an appreciable difference but I’m also not trying to win matches.
Geeze, I have some i was torture testing i think I quit after load 10 or 12 of the brass, mixed head stamps, adi, hornady, fiochi, win, fed, rem...Not range brass. Just mixed lot. If I don’t know it’s the same lot it gets recycled.
I had 700 pieces of mixed lot 223, by load three I had cases that wouldn’t hold a bullet and some that were so tight they deformed in seating. Along with 70+fpa es.
