Home freeze dryer questions

I’ve been seriously looking into a Harvest Right home freeze dryer and wanted to hear from people that have one. If you have one do you like it? How is the finished product if you’re freeze drying meals? Any big advantages over just dehydrating meals on my Excalibur dehydrator?

My main purposes would be freeze drying meals and freeze drying Vegetables from the garden.
