I'm not a fan and look forward to replacing the one on my .223 at some point.

They're stiffer than a lot of stocks that show up on factory rifles but not truly rigid, and on the heavy side. Bell and Carlson are great for the money.

Pulled mine off my 416 Ruger as soon as I bought and replaced it with the old boat paddle stock. Hogue flexes too much and I've never cared for the feel of it.

I personally like the feel of the hogue stocks. That being said, I only have one on a 22.

Flexible , heavy , bulky , and almost impossible to bed. I had one on a Ruger Hawkeye 7-08 for a short time. The full aluminum bed block fit poorly. I could see the rub marks where it moved when fired. Pretty much sucked all the way around.

Ha ha. I have one on a ruger markII 280 rem. Its heavy as hell but shoots great, sub moa with federal premium 150grn noslers. I don't have the full aluminum block model and would not shoot this off a bipod because its flexy. With that said this is just my backup gun and is not used for long range stuff. 300 yards and less and its good to go. I really like the feel of the stock and it was cheap. There are def better stocks out there but I think this stock is sweet for a brush/ short range gun.
