Hoffman double insulated mountain pac boot

Got my new Hoffman double insulated moutaineer pac boots.
Am I missing something, where is the double insulation? I can remove the felt liner and dont see any additional foot bed etc...

If I’m not mistaken, it’s built into the rubber bottom of the boot.

Yes a removable liner and the rubber bottoms have a liner built onto them that’s not removable.

There is 200 grams of Thinsulate built into the walls of the rubber and an additional 9mm felt insole under the footbed.
