6" Rhino Vibram - Hoffman Boots
Hoffman's 6" Rhino hiker (Stark) is one of the toughest hikers we have developed. This rugged 6 inch hiker style boot is coated in "stark" material (similar to truck bed lining) making it more cut resistant, adding another level of waterproofing, and extending the overall life of the boot. The...

Hoffman hunting/Hiking boots for sale. I used these only once. They are amazing boots, just too stiff for my personal preference. I am more of a trail running shoe type guy, but figured Id try out a "real" boot for a change. On a stiffness scale or 1-10 (1 being a moccasin and 10 being a ski boot) Id rate these as about a 6-7... Excellent support, fairly stiff sole. I did really like them for sidehilling the steep stuff I was on when bear hunting that day. Im just more of a hippy barefoot, moccasin type guy I guess.
I have had Crispi boots which hurt my achilles for some reason, Danners (they felt fine), HOKA hiking boots (very comfy but only last about a month when used for hunting) and the list goes on. I have insulated hunting boots from Hoffman and they are so comfortable and well built. If you are not familiar with Hoffman boots, made in Kellog Idaho, look into them. On par (if not even better quality) then Kenetrek or Crispi boots.
These boots will last for a long long time and are extremely waterproof. If you have size 8.5 mens feet and like a semi-stiff boot, these might be the best thing ever. These are $355 new. I used them for one 8 mile loop. No pain, no hotspots, very comfy. Just stiffer than what I like. (I bought the new summit boots from Hoffman which have a flexier sole).
I am asking $225. These fit very true to size. I wear 8.5 in Nike, Altra, Hoka, Danner, etc.
