Back up for sale. Don’t see me using this anytime soon. Wanting to sell my like new hilleberg kaitum 2gt. Been set up in the yard and that’s it. Never been slept in. $950. Possible trades: Stone Glacier Terminus 7000 with large belt, SG skyscraper 2p lightweight rifle in 308. Or maybe some good glass.

If you want floorless. Keep this tent, yank out the inner and run just the fly. It’s one of the best robust, ventilated floorless shelters I’ve used. The Kaitum ventilated best of all the Hilleberg a I’ve used. I use a Kaitum 3 with no inner and it is an absolute castle for three dudes and gear. The 2 GT can be used the same way with or without gear.

Just giving my .02 because I’ve slept in tipis, a sawtooth, tarps, various other hilles, the Kaitum to me, is the end all be all if I don’t need freestanding or true 4 season. Keep the damn thing!

I’m glad you said that. I never even thought about yanking the inner out. I’ve pretty much decided to keep it. I’m 6’6” so finding a tent has been a serious issue for me. Lol.

Two dudes two dogs and gear. Plenty of room. I always run the footprint. This is the Kaitum 3.

I like that. If there was a way to run a stove in it, that would be awesome.
