Hi guys,
I have searched the internet and can find nothing. Can someone tell me if a pair of full size 10x42 bino's (Leica HD-B's) will fit in the HPG kit bag.

Steve,
I think that will not work well at all. I stuff a 10x25 zeiss compact in there but if anything substantial is in the other pouch (springfield xds45 which is thin) it's maxed out and tough to get either out quickly. I cant see 10x42's working at all.

I have a g19 in mine and am able to zip up my 10x42 leupolds in the front pocket. Not sure of the size difference between the two binos. Also have room for my wind checker and a few more small items in there. It's kinda a tight fit but it works.

They may have to sit sideways, but they'll fit. I had a pair of 10x50 diamondbacks in mine that way for a while. Compacts will fit in the back pouch with a compact pistol.

Thanks guys. I will not be carrying a pistol (Canadian) so should work great.

If you won't be carrying a pistol, I personally wouldn't do the Kit Bag. I love mine, but for the purpose of carrying my G20. If I was going just binos, it would be cheaper to buy the FHF harness by a little bit if you went solid color. You won't be able to carry as much with the FHF, but I would rather have the flap than the zipper to get at them.

Yes, I put my 10x42 Vortex's in the rear sideways when carrying via another method. However you would be better served with a dedicated bino pouch/carry system if no sidearm was required.

Agreed. I would ditch my Kit Bag for an FHF or Alaskan Guide harness if I was going to carry bino's only.
