Anyone used this pack alot?

Also does the pack come with a waistbelt or not I can't tell due the description.

Looking to potentially get it as a meat hauling day pack instead of a MR Pop up or others

It's meant to be used with a prairie belt. I believe HPG wants you to add the belt on your own in case you already have a belt since they use one belt for all their larger packs.

For a complete pack you need to add the belt to the order separately from the Ute pack, for a total of around $400.

McCoppin...I had this same dilemma. I really liked the capabilities of the Ute...ended up finding a popup 28 on cyber Monday for 209.00 brand new. The Ute looks like a sweet set up though.

I had one, you have to get the belt separately.

The yoke harness is very comfortable, I have a few of their packs. However, on the Ute, there is a big, plastic clip in the center of your back that adjusts the height of the yoke. Maybe it's because I'm 6'2" but the clip rested directly on my spine. Since there is only a very thin plastic sheet for structure in the pack, anytime you cinch the bag contents down, it bows the bag into a barrel shape. Thus, forcing the buckles further into your spine. I took mine hunting elk this year but was unsuccessful. Even with only a puffy jacket and kill kit in the bag, I found it too annoying and uncomfortable to deal with anymore. If I had any real weight in it. I think I would have been in real pain. Sold it and got a kifaru. I couldn't be happier.

That is good to know ts1...as I am 6'2 as well...not something one should have to deal with at that price point!
