Wanting to get into shaping handles on some knife blanks, maybe a skinner or filet but mostly a nice set of burl handled kitchen knives. Anyone know of a seller that offers above average, non-Chinese steel options? I’m good with paying extra for 154cm or above but not really interested in what seems to be a flood of Damascus options.

Check out ENZO. They are Scandinavian steel (like HELLE) and offer a bevy of different options for blanks. Theirs are mostly full-tang designs.

DLT trading for those.

Ragweed Forge or Thompsons for more traditional Puukko and Leuku hidden-tang type blades.
