“High Wild and Free” on AmazonTV

Just watched the show on AmazonPrime by Gordon Eastman titled “High Wild and Free”

Fun show to watch, I’m a sucker for nostalgic hunting films and pictures. I feel like I was born 100 years to late, life just seemed more enjoyable In those times. I’m really a simpleton, modern amenities seem nice but really control so much of our time/energy/finances.

Watching the film made me think two things:
1- folks were able to take monthlong trips back then and not blink an eye
2- they are tougher than me!!! Crude gear, slow transportation, limited communication, tough men and women for sure

It’s been a few years since I watched it. Glad to hear they added it to amazon TV. Really enjoy that film.

Its a good film.

Id say the old days were a lot like today. A guy who made a living filming the outdoors, would spend quite a bit more time outdoors, then the average working stiff.
