I have a some wolf fur of tail laying around I want to use on the edge of my hood of my jacket and use a Velcro so I can easily remove or attach. My jacket has GTX membrane and I don't want to puncture it by sewing the Velcro directly to it, that's why I'm looking for a good quality tape that has a really good glue. I figured I could then just sew the tape on the Velcro and attach it to the hood.

What kind of glue or tape would be suited for this?

I will use it for my late season hunts when the winds are cold in the mountains.

Cheers,

I'd look for something from Gear Aid. I ripped a pretty good size hole in a pair of EB guide pants. I stuck a piece of tenacious tape on the inside over the cut and you can't tell it was ever there. That tape patch has been there for probably close to a year now and through the washer/dryer countless times, it still looks exactly like it did when I stuck it there.
