Northwestern NV native here. Been putting in for tags the last 8 years with one successful draw and just pulled an ID controlled tag. Love modding my gear and looking for ways to make my future hunts better. Also snowboard the Sierra Nevada a lot, think that this activity has helped with my interest in hunting.

Thanks! Been looking and seems lots of private land there. Trying to avoid corner cutting at all costs but what’s the general consensus in Idaho regarding the private property there and accessing public lands?

Make sure you know where you stand, and look out for old school ways that ranchers would mark no hunting.

Will do. Compiling a list of potential landowners I’ll write letters to and ask permission solely to cross property in the event I need to. So far my online mapping I’ve found routes I won’t need to, but just want to plan accordingly.
