Hex Wrench T-Handle Set

Looking for recs on any sets that folks have used and they like. I'm getting more into tuning and tweaking at home in the garage and i have a folding set right now that works in the field/at the range but isn't the nicest for at home stuff. (and doesn't have 7/32 for my poundage adjustment...)

Looking through the manual on my bow to pick out the sizes used i've got 3/32", 5/32", 7/32" and 7/64" that are explicitly called out. (Bowtech SS34). I've also used the 5/64" on my sight pins (but will likely upgrade my sight this year).

Looking around and I'm mostly finding the archery specific ones (makes sense) like this one from OMP have these ranges and sizes covered but doing a Harbor Freight or Lowes set might miss some sizes. Curious if anyone has found anything cheaper that works or if i should just bite the bullet and pay the 'archery specific' premium?

Oct Mtn makes a ratcheting set that isn't terribly expensive. Don't over think it, just buy one that covers the majority of what you need. You could probably find similar to the linked below one for less.

The issue with T-handles is that a LOT of the screws do not allow you to use them due to clearance. I have this set from Harbor Freight and it does everything I need but you also need a regular set. Stubby preferably.

I’d say pick up a Fix It Sticks kit, I have one that I use for pretty much everything from assembling firearms, to mounting scopes to assembling my son’s crib. Pine Ridge set isn’t a T handle but they work great. Never had an issue with stripping screws with them. They’re also long enough to get into tighter spaces.

Don't need the arhchery specific. Any set at a hardware store is fine, as long as they are ball end.

I'm not a fan of t-handles for archery or bikes - I prefer the L shape as it's easier to guestimate full/half/quarter turns of a bolt. This set is reasonably priced and served me well through the years. Highly rated by "Project Farm" as well. You can also get just the SAE or metric set:

I use the hell out of the Wiha allen wrenches at work - they're the best we've found. The Klein journeyman T-handles with ball end are decent too.

Wiha combined with a fix-it-sticks kit and you can do almost anything. Note you will need the Wiha because the small torx bits from the kit will break. Wiha will not.

I prefer using a craftsman driver with replaceable bits. For 95% of the time it works. Super easy and can take a whole set of imperial bits in my pocket with the driver.

The Icon t handle sets from harbor freight are hard to beat for the money. If they break you can swap them out in store. Definitely would recommend a smaller 90deg set or Smittys to go along with them to get to your rest and smaller areas on the bow.

Another vote for Fix it Sticks here, and whip bits. I also heavily make use of the torque adapters from fix it sticks to make sure I'm not over tightening, which I have been known to do in the past. Also have a set of the short stubby Allen wrenches.

Bondhus makes the best hex wrenches in my opinion. They make all different kinds. T hande, stubby's, etc...
