I sent a pair of Zeiss BG/a t* in for a little tuneup work as they are older Bino’s and felt they had lost a lot of the sharpness they once had.

I had a terrible experience with Zeiss customer service and was not happy at all with the repair. The VP of sports optics Tom Andrews reached out to me about my experience and was upset with how his team handled everything and asked I send my glass back in for another go. He promised he would make it right.

Long story short he sent me this email:

“ Your bino repair is complete.
We replaced the objective lenses, ocular lenses, focus drive, and have included a new strap.
We also tightened the hinge, performed an alignment, set Zero, and cleaned them.
I personally have looked through them and to me they are restored to their optimal performance.
We’ll get them back to you ASAP and will even include the original strap as well.
I trust they will meet your expectations.”

I’m thrilled with the service he provided and he made sure I was taken care of!

With that said.......

What can I expect? With all lenses being replaced this should almost be like new correct? I’m an optics novice and don’t know how everything works just if I like the image or not! Lol

Thanks

And a shout out to Tom from Zeiss, his customer service was awesome and I hope and trust his team will learn from my case

I am betting that your bino's got the latest lense polishing/coating treatment technology and are even better than when they were bought new.
