I have a sig range finder. I have it setup for the ammo i shoot out of my 30-06, but shooting the other day at 180 and 280 I was significantly low. To the point I went back to the house and rechecked it at 100 thinking it was off. Drilling tacks at 100. So I’m assuming it’s not doping correctly. How would I go about adjusting it?

As far as I know you just can pick from pre programmed options so not sure what I should pick or change to get better results.

Planning to shoot it at distance again tomorrow to see exactly how low I am.

Any slope involved? The angle function of my sig kilo rangefinder crapped out early in life. Change it to LOS mode and see if the indicated angle is correct. Mine will show between 45 and 60* regardless of how it's oriented.

Interesting. I was shooting down hill a decent bit at 180. Maybe slightly at 280. I’m going to shoot tomorrow and just not dial and hold over and see how it does and compare to what range finder says
