If it were me, I’d go the Tikka route.

I personally don't like Tikka, but in your case that is the better avenue. Either cartridge will serve you well.

Howa's have two stage triggers that are pretty good, and down right great if tuned up.

The problem is that there doesn't seem to be the ability to pre-fit a barrel to a Howa as readily. Maybe, this is because I have not researched it.

A 300 Weatherby Howa or Vanguard is a hard sell for most folks.
