For safety, case trimming is necessary whenever the brass stretches beyond SAAMI spec max case length.

This is true, but I haven't encountered any once fired brass from factory ammo in the calibers he is talking about that has been too long to reload. Measure to verify, but in all likelihood, you can probably skip the trimmer for your first batch.
