Help with new rifle

I'm not crazy about Tikkas. I'm looking at a Bergara Wilderness Ridge in 308.

I really like mine so far. It shoots great and the build quality seems good. That said if I'm packing in I would probably grab one of my Tikka Superlites. My 270 with a 3-15 Razor LH is about 1# 4oz lighter than my 18" Bergara with a Razor LHT. 5oz of that is the scopes and Talleys on the Tikka vs a pic rail/seekens on my Bergara.

Yes 308 SP. I looked at a 300 today. I’m definitely considering it. I’ve got a Tikka 300 that’s got a lot of critters on it but I really like the Bergara.

Winchester Model 70 extreme weather in 30-06 top it with a Leupold 3i. Can't beat that combo and control feed is the way to go.
